  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there a way to touch up or repair the front radar vs replacement. Warranty is up and I’m sure after market warranty won’t cover it. 2015 3.8. 🙏🏼

Same as refinishing headlights, maybe ?

Looks like crap. Was it clear coated at some point? Sort of looks like what happens when clear coat on a car has aged and starts to fail. I have a G70 and have never looked close enough if the plastic is coated or if I could even tell.

Not sure, second owner. Yes, it does look like crap.

I just had mine cleaned and recalibrated by the dealer under warranty. I was told to be cautious about cleaning yourself, but if you do you should have the dealer check it. I would have the dealer do it even if not under warranty. I was told replacing the unit is more than $5000.00 if not under warranty. Looks like new after cleaning. Operation normal before and after.

I'm having the same issue. I was maybe thinking it was a protective film....might have to take it to someone who does ppf to confirm if so I might take a eraser wheel to it.

Same issue here but mine looks like frost on a windshield - I think it's the protective film that the dealer was supposed to remove upon delivery. It's very difficult to remove. Won't scrape off, bug and tar remover doesn't work, Goo-Gone doesn't work.
