  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

OK, the front collision warning has stopped working after a long trip. I almost ran into my garage. I put the car in reverse and then moved forward and it started working again? Anyone else have this problem. The front sensors are clean, that was my first thought too.

Putting it in reverse and then forward makes it start working? My first loaner car coming over to the house?

If it failed to work for any reason it should report an error code to the computer, I'd have them check it for you just to be on the safe side.

I am a total idiot. The valet parking guy turned off the parking assist and when that is turned off the front warning doesn't work.

Had that happen to me recently on a trip. Wasn't working and I was stressing it until I thought to look at the button. Someone had turned it off.
