If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is it common to have a fuel leak in the 2012 R-Spec sedan? Is it the fuel injectors? My cabin smells like gasoline. It makes me feel sick

I would never consider it common to have any sort of fuel leak. If you do not see raw fuel anywhere then you may be smelling vapors from a failed portion of the emissions system. I would have a professional sniff it out for you. Part of the system that sucks vapors from the fuel tank and burns them off is located under a black cover in the back of trunk.

Fuel leaks are rare in the Genesis BH.

I found out my high pressure fuel pumps are bad. Does anyone know if there is a more cost effective solution? The dealer is asking $900 for each one. Do you have replace the lines when you replace the high pressure fuel pump?

Turns out it was a leak from the gas tank. It was one of the fuel senders. I replaced both with oem parts. $600 parts + labor

Was the exhaust smoking? My drivers side back exhaust is smoking real bad. Put $20 in gas and only drove 5 miles and car was out of gas. What’s going on and if I’m having the same problem how do I find it

What’s the fuel sender

No, this would be completely different.
I assume it is black smoke coming out. That would be because the computer thinks the fuel pressure is lower than it really is, so it is injecting too much fuel. You need to correctly diagnose the cause of that P0089 code (or get someone who can to do it), and fix it. I'd want to fix the other problems being hinted at too. (The misfires may well go away once the fuel pressure issue is resolved.)

I’ve had multiple people look at it and they can’t seem to figure it out. I can’t even drive the car because it idles rough and shakes real bad when I come to a stop. I’ve changed the spark plug and the coil on cylinder eight and the misfire code went away. I bought a fuel pressure regulator but I had a guy tell me that that wasn’t the problem and that it was most likely one of the fuel pumps under the hood. He specifically said it’s most likely the driver side fuel pump since the smoke is coming out from the driver side exhaust. Need help

Well, you can continue to throw parts at it, or you can go somewhere good that has experience with these cars and get it diagnosed (instead of guessed at). The most expensive place may end up being the lowest cost for you in this case.

Just noticed my dipstick smells like gas so there’s definitely gas getting into my oil.

I would expect that if it is over-injecting. You'll need to change that oil much more frequently till this is resolved. Gasoline does not lubricate nearly as well as oil.

Could it be the injectors??

Could it be the injectors??
Yes, that is possible. However, it's likely going to get very expensive if you just start throwing parts at it.
