Fuel problem diagnosis

I have a 2012 R-Spec with about 70k miles. It recently started cutting out under load. The check engine light came on about 20 miles after it first started happening. The error codes are 2191 & 2193 System Too Lean at Higher Load. Other pending codes are 0090 &0091 Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 Control Circuit Low. Now I'm trying to troubleshoot what is the cause. I was going to test fuel pressure, but can't find where the tap is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Two things come to mind here, a dirty MAF sensor for the P2191/93 codes and a possible failed high pressure fuel pump for the P0090/91 codes.
The MAF sensor can be either cleaned or replaced and the high pressure pump is not the one in the fuel tank but the secondary one on top of the motor.

Todd, email sent. I'm assuming you have the 5.0, if yours is a 3.8 or 4.6 I need to send a different one.

All R-Spec sedans are 5.0 V8.

I don't believe the 2012,13,14 models have a MAF. I know my 13Rspec does not
Either way let us know how things go as we may have similar issues "sometime"

Thanks for the manual Doug! The manual indicates there is a MAF sensor and a few places online will sell one that supposedly fits this engine. However, I didn't find one.

I also see that it has 2 high pressure fuel pumps, one on each bank. I have both error codes 2091 & 2093. Wouldn't that indicate too lean on both sides? Looks like I need special adapter (approx $120) to test pressure on low side of the high pressure pump and VCI/GDS to read pressure on the high side in the rail. I'm now thinking I will have to take it into the dealer.

Thought I'd update on the resolution. I just bought the car a little over a year ago. Somehow while working on the car, somebody cracked the plastic of the fuel pressure regulator that is built into one of the high pressure fuel pumps. It worked for at least 20k miles, but must have finally vibrated enough to stop working. Replaced the fuel pump and the car is running great again. Replacing the fuel pump was fairly easy. The manual says a special tool is required to undo/redo the high pressure fuel line, but we just used a 'crows foot' and torque wrench. Spec'd torque is only 24 ft-lb.
