  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can any one answer this for me. When I push the Info button, I go to System Settings. The Display is "Off" and so is the Full Display. Should one of them be "On"?

Marty

I am not sure I understand. If you push the info/aux button it should alternate from what is pluged into aux outlets and the car systems information screen as you repeat pushing. Also the display has to be turned on.

It's the info/phone button on the right side, rear location which gives you the "System Settings" on the left side of the display. On the right side is the "Display off" and "Full Display Off" options. They are both off on my display, is one of these meant to be on, or are they both meant to say Off?

I confused the buttons on my reply. But am going to go sit in my car, go through the setting etc, and see if I can get an answer.

The settings show Display off and full display off are the options that are activated if you choose it and then press the DIS down. The display will come on again if nav, map, info etc button is pressed.

They'll never say "On". The say off, because that's would happen if you pushed down on the DIS controller.

Display Full Off = screen completely off (it's great at night),
Display Off is minimal information shown on the screen.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate all the help.

Marty
