  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Smart buyers.

Hee.
Btw, my dry cleaners all rushed out to look at mine the first time, convenience store owner gushed that I was driving his dream car.
Hated to disappoint them by saying it was only a Signature.
;)

LOL! Love it...

Reminds me of one of my best friends, who is Korean and just bought a BMW 5 series and here I am (of German heritage) buying a Korean car.

I joked with him when I bought it that his people better not screw me....and he reciprocated with a not very nice WWII reference that I'll not repeat, haha...

I always wondered if there was any ethnic loyalties in terms of car buying, but when you're an up and coming brand, I suppose that's something to have pride in.

There is huge pride in Hyundai by Koreans. Driving from Ct. to Fla, we visit our daughter in Atlanta. She takes us to her favorite Asian restaurant for dinner. I make small talk with owner while waiting for table. Learn he's Korean, tell him I'm driving an Equus, his eyes light up, becomes very excited, and asks if he can go outside and see it, etc, etc,

I think many Korean churches across the major metropolitan areas have parking lots that look similar. Definitely here in Los Angeles and Orange County.
