  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G2 Lexicon Sound System

My G1 (Lexicon 17) sounded better than my G2 (Lexicon 14) but that is not a fair comparison.

I test drove a 2015 model last year, and honestly I thought the sound was not as good as my 09, granted my 09 got more speaker but the sound just isnt as good for some reason. I'm not sure if I drove a lower model one but it was V6.

Side note, that new cadillac CT6 got 34 speakers O_O

So you think your G1 sounded better than the G2... BUT... you don't know what G2 system you actually listened to? How is this useful to anyone?

well for what its worth...the guy told me the car had tech package and that was it.

just look it up, only the ultimate package have the 17 speakers. So there it is, if you want nice sounds, get the ultimate package, and it may be up to par with the G1 V8 version.
