I have read conflicting information on whether the G70 2.5T has port injection in addition to GDI.

It has both. I think they say GDI to distinguish it from the MPI only version.

There are no 3.3T Smartstream. The current 3.3T in the G70 belongs to the older Lambda II family. It is GDI only.
