g70 2019 STALLED, MAJOR PROBLEM

MY NEW GENESIS WITH 6K MILES ON IT STALLED TWICE AND I ALMOST GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT BOTH TIMES, GOT TOWED TO THE DEALER AND NOW THE STARTER IS OUT WHEN THE CAR WAS STARTING JUST FINE JUST STALLING.

Hopefully I get an answer, they're replacing the starter tomorrow, but another dealer recommended not to fix the starter until they find out why the car stalled in the first place

Auto stop/start (if a four cylinder car) has reported issues like this for two people on this site, at least. I am too lazy to look for it now.

This may be one of the ones you are thinking of. Has some information and a lot of arguing.

How did that work out for you? My 2019 G70 with 20k miles just did the same thing twice in one day. I had it towed to the dealer where they kept it for a week. They could not replicate the problem so gave the car back. Now I’m afraid to drive it, worrying about when it might stop again.

I had this problem checked out by another dealer. I was told they had never heard of this problem and couldn’t find any information regarding it. Now that I know where the auto stop-start button is from the forum, I will turn it off whenever I turn the car on.
