G70 Covered In snow for more than 24 hours

Hello,

I have bought the 2021 Genesis G70 and I’m really happy with my purchase. But there is one thing that concerns me a lot right now. I live in cold climate area and yesterday there was a huge snowstorm and my car was standing in parking lot at night. In the morning when I saw it, It was fully covered in pile of snow. Even the hood was not visible. So I was just wondering will anything wrong happen to my car or car engine once I get it out of the snow after 24-30 hours at least? I’m really worried about car.

Paint might suffer but car should be ok.

Nothing will happen. Don't worry. Cars are made to withstand getting wet.

You'll be fine. Just be extremely careful brushing the snow off. Very easy to scratch paint. Here's a picture a few years ago of my Chevy SS. To the left of the ex's Jeep. See the mirror peeking out?!

I recommend a leaf blower to prevent scratches. And, It has MANY other uses. I use it to clear leaves, grass, dry my car, blow snow off my car, blow snow off the driveway, etc.

Your car will be perfectly fine. It sounds like snow is new to you. Be careful when removing the snow from the car as you could easily scratch it. If you didn't touch the car and waited for the snow to melt you'd never know it was covered in snow.

At least you have one window clear so you can drive it. The rest will blow off on the highway.
