G70 Infotainment Home Screen Image

I was wondering if the G70 has the ability to change the hone screen pic that is a night shot of a city from across a body of water. My wife has the GV70 and her home screen background changes depending on the time of day and was wondering why the G70 doesn't have this option, unless I'm missing it lol. Thank you in advance.

Hey! I have a 2022 G80 2.5T AWD I'm assuming the infotainment is pretty much the same. You should be able to go into settings and under display there are I believe 4 options to change it to
I don't think there's a way to upload your own. Just those choices

I do think it would be nice if we could add our own images and use them but the ones that come with car are nice enough.

For sure. I was able to figure out out on my wife's GV70 a few weeks ago when she got it but I couldn't locate it on my G70

I'm in the car now going through all settings and options again. One I hit "setup" and then "display" this is all I see

Go to your setup button then to screen theme/ layout. Then homescreen wallpaper. And I guess it's just 3 choices. Keep in mind what you see on the primary screen does change and adjust depending on weather to reflect it.

The G70 has the OLD (5W) system, and it's completely different than the rest of the Genesis line (version 6). And same thing with both power-trains; they're the old 2.0/3.3 with GDI, rather than 2.5/3.5 with dual-injection, etc. That's why I keep commenting for mods to do a better job of labeling this forum as NOT A GV70 forum, since they have nothing in common, other than similar basic chassis; everything else is different, including all mechanicals and electronics.

Yea I figured that. I assumed she had the newer system in hers. No biggie the screen saver isn't a huge deal just wanted to change it if possible. Again not a huge deal I will move on lol.

The primary screen is what I think many are asking about. My 2023 gv70 has images that change with the weather and day/night. It also has different background pictures. I have a 2024 gv70 loaner that has 3 home screen options and all are night scene and when you hit the home button in the center console you get a dark gray and black image behind the time. I can not find any way to change the primary screen and the 3 options for home wallpaper are 3 night scenes. This loaner doesn't have the connected services turned on. I wondered if this is why I cannot find different wallpaper and primary choices?
