  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey everyone, so i’m currently looking at buying a used g70 3.3t for around 30k. But recently I came across a high milege g70 3.3t for around $21k with 115k miles and 1 owner. I currently have a 2009 hyundai genesis 3.8 as a daily, so i don’t know to much on how long the g70s can last. So i wanted to ask anyone who’s hit over 100k miles if this would be a good purchase?
Or any advice on high milege g70s?

There are lots of Stingers and G70s over 100K, and even 200K. However there are things to look for to make sure the car is doing ok. I would have a mechanic look at it first. Did the owner have any work done? was it tuned?

No, everything on it is stock, and the maintenance records look good aswell. I’ll most likely have a mechanic look at it before anything though.

I plan on driving this as a daily though, so chances are I’ll be putting atleast another 100k on it over the next few years. My biggest concern is if it’ll survive upwards of 200k.

Sounds like you do a lot of driving. If that's the case, you will find the 3.3 is decent on the highway but not so good in town for fuel consumption.
