  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Shooting Brake / Wagon

The author is probably getting a bit ahead of themselves. Wait for the face lift and GV70 first. Then maybe they will consider a shooting brake G70. The issue is that it would cannibalize sales of both the smaller SUV and the G80 (and the Stinger...as if the regular G70 didn't do that enough).

Would be cool to see though. Another contender for the "Ultimate dad car," but at a price point that isn't 6 figures
You seen the new Aston Martin Shooting Brake?
It's no rendering...it's $800 grand!

Definitely a classic !! But the newest one will do just fine thank you...LOL.
Sure will. But a 3.7TT Genesis Shooting Brake might cost $50k.
Sure, the RS will outperform it big time, but at almost 400hp, I'd be thrilled.

Oh trust me...if the G70 Shooting Brake comes to the USA...I am alllllll over it.

It would be a 3.5TT though...hopefully not the current 3.3TT.

That AMG is insane...but I’ll take the Audi. Call me crazy.

My mistake. The biggest engine in 3.5 not 3.7. On the G70, YouTuber Asia Petrolhead tests the 2022 with the 3.3 and active valve exhaust. He said it's available with the Sport Package, which I confirmed on Genesis Korea's build-your-own site.
Have you scoped out the new vroom-vroom exhaust??

'Cause if there is a US Shooting Brake, it's gotta make some noise! The creativity of the design dictates that to me.

^ Are you kidding me right now? Are you serious?

That photo is a 928...and the Panamera Sport Turismo was introduced in 2017.

AND YES...Porsche DOES call it a shooting brake. Right from their website...

Porsche shooting brake: past and present

And you are 100% wrong stating that a shooting brake is only a 2 door. It can be both 2 door and 4 door. You have been proven wrong with 3 examples. And here is a 4th...the VW Arteon also has a 4 door shooting brake.
I'm trolling another of your posts. ;-) The Panamera was hideous to me when introduced. The 928, I loved, but that's me.
However the video clip in your link of the Panamera prototype shooting break made me think, Why wasn't this the original design? It's not bad, and better than ole bubble butt.

Never coming to America I bet, I would buy it if it did. Looks nice

^ confirmed that it is not coming to USA. Doubt Canada gets it either.

It surprises me how much more I like the facelift taillights with the small little lights they put on this hatch. It pinches the left and right sides together, seemingly converging/pointing to a single point, and the slanted lights do have a more aggressive and muscular look than the straight ones they use for other models.

^ I totally agree. The little extensions on the lid complete the overall intended look of the light IMO.

If you take your finger and just cover them on the photo...it looks pretty bad.
