  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 Sightings?

Would've been funny if the old lady just floored it after you gave the thumbs up.
She wasn't particularly old; mid-30s I'd say. But not at all interested in enthusiastic vehicular palpitations :-)

Oh god I’m in my mid 30s and I hope people don’t see me in my car and refer to me as old

Living/working on the southside of Atlanta I have seen about 10 in the wild in almost 18 months of ownership. So a bit less than one a month, I can live with that exclusivity.
ayee northside atlanta here.

Anyone with a g70 in Richmond Hill, Ontario on this forum? Noticed a white g70 parked at my work yesterday and thought maybe it was a one off but its parked again today.

I've seen quite a few in the past month but never thought I'd see one at my place of work, there's roughly 50 people here....

I needed a moment to soak in how incredibly rare this is.

Recent sighting in the Greater Toronto Area:
2-Jun: Grey G70 2.0T Prestige (based on the rims) at Warden & Finch medical centre.
12-Jun: Blue G70 2.0T (not sure which trim) Bayview onto 401E, we all got caught with the massive traffic jam just before Leslie exit.

I've seen a grand total of 3 in 2 years - 2 in front of their owners residences in London, ON and one on the eastbound 401.
BTW, if you see a silver G70 without badges on 401 driving like the driver wants to go home to poop, that's probably me. Please get out of the way. Thank you.

I've seen quite a few. Probably 10-12 in the past 3 months, only one red though. But you also tend to see your car more often after getting it because you're cognizant about it. Just never thought I'd see one at my OWN work. Still baffled.

Sighted this one at the dealer, with sport wheels but no brembos??? It was new, with the 3000 cash incentive sticker on the windshield...

Parked next to my boy today.

Our building has a strange underground parking that you have to access from a seperate street. I didn't know about it until a few weeks after I started here. I assume the same for them since this is the first time I saw them parked underground.20200618_080445.webp

Red :).

My boy that's not really my boy's car is white.

I really really like Siberian ice tho, was a close second for me.

lol my bad. My assumption was that you blurred out your license plate but not the other car, when in fact is was the other way around.

It's all good, I realized. Could care less about my own plate, but can't say the same for the other cars owner.

Passed a beautiful Mallorca blue G70 yesterday, going the other way, on a secondary road here in southern NH. The nice thing was that my first thought as I saw it coming was "what a sharp looking car in a beautiful blue", then I realized it was a G70, which was even better! 😊
It's only about the fifth sighting I've had in the past year, first blue one.

This has actually happened to me quite often.

"wow that's a nice car, wonder what- wait a minute that looks familiar....OH ITS A G70"

I am on the south side of ATL and have not seen another one in the wild.

I'm on the North East side of ATL and have seen just one other.
Other wise.... nice to be a select few.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Judging by this forum I would guess the opposite. I think most of us have the 3.3, but that is also the more "enthusiast" trim I would say so it makes sense that more of the members here own one.

I have seen mostly 3.3s, I think i have only seen 2 2.0s.
