G80 3.5 MPG

I recently took a road trip in the "New to me" 2021 G80 Prestige V6 RWD. I was pleasantly surprised with 31 mpg. I was wondering if this is good or average? I know the around town MPG is about 20 MPG. And short trips in town I'm lucky to get 16 MPG.

Can't speak exact apples to apples, but I get about 26mpg highway on my 3.5 GV80 which is AWD and a good bit heavier.
Your G80 mpg seems normal to good range within that framework.
I have noticed for me, the shorter the trip, the worse the mileage--It takes at least 4-5 miles of non-stop and go (speed independent) to get up to par mpg, but then it performs as advertised.
Overall, in 65% ex-urban/ 35% highway I have gotten about 21mpg ave over the past 3000 miles, and a small part of that is hill/mountain driving.

Sounds similar to what I'd get over time. Short trips in cold weather hits it hard. On the way to a store 2 miles from my house it would be 12 mpg, on the return trip with the engine a bit warmer would be 14 mpg. If I got on the highway, it would jump to double that.

Yea....the short trips around town running errands the mileage is pretty poor. But when Genesis stated 27 mpg for highway and I got 31 I was more than happy.
