Hey all, first post here. I recently bought a used 2019 G80 sport 3.3t AWD in Havana red, with only 36k miles. Soon after finding out the car does not come with wireless Apple CarPlay, I went out and bought a carlinkit 5.0 adapter, which is almost plug and play, as it does have its fair share of issues from time to time that changing the settings on the adapter doesn’t seem to prevent, but a reboot of the headunit does atleast bring it back, which I was not able to figure out how to do without somehow fully letting the car go to sleep. I’m sure this has been posted before but I couldn’t find anything when I googled how to reboot it.
So here it is:
Above the cd player, next to the Sirius XM emblem, you’ll find a small button, grab a toothpick (or a pen in a pinch lol) and press it, this will reboot the screen, along with the usb port. Hope this helps!
