  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

When I set my blower to only blow on my feet it still blows on the windshield quite a lot. I can never get 100% of the fan on the feet. Doesn't matter what mode I'm in. Is this a defect or does this happen on all of them?

This has been the case on every car I have ever owned that had vacuum dashpot or motorized air control. Every owner's manual on every car I have ever owned has indicated this in the section dealing with the cabin HVAC. I assume it is to keep your feet warm and the windshield clear in cold weather. With the old-time slider control that actually pulled a cable, you could tweak it as desired.
Only a small amount of air should be on the windshield when you have selected the floor position. You can take it to the dealer if you think something is wrong or try another car on the lot to see if it's different.

When I have it set to the floor the amount of air coming from the top is probably 60% or more. I'll mention it when it goes for the first service.
