  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G90 Owners - What did the Genesis replace for you?

LOL - not without a salvage title you couldn't. Pre covid they were in the low to mid 40s, and now 4 years after that they are pulling mid-high 20s with high mileage. However - Ultimates with 40-55k on them are pulling mid-high 30s even today - 5-7 years later.
As a reference, 3 years ago, I bought my 2017 G90 Ultimate with 32K miles for $35,000. I'm guessing if I sold it outright as it sits with 43,000 miles, I might get $30,000. Trade in on Carvana, last time I checked, was around $26,000. But that fluctuates.

2022 Mercedes AMG E53 coupe

Well this car is a definitely upgrade..I had a heavily modified 2015 Mazda 6…..
Nice. You should sign up. Or sign in...

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
With cars like the Lincoln Continental/Town Car and Cadillac Fleetwood, DeVille, DTS, CT6 gone from America, the G90 is an impressive way to get that experience (only better). What vehicle did you have before the G90?
Replaced 2022GV70. Still have G80. Traded 2014 Hyundai Genesis on the GV70. Anyone who doesn't own a genesis is missing out. Cannot wait for my next-door Lexus salesman to see it!

2014 Hyundai Equus

In 2021: a BMW 750. Warranty was expiring and BMW mechanic told me maintenance would eat me alive. So I got a 2021 GV80 and never looked back....

Cool - but this is the G90 thread :) The same question is posed in the GV80 sub-fora

2016 Equus. The 2021 G90 is upgrade in electronics but downgrade in ride quality and comfort. The G90 suspension is no match for the air ride of the Equus. Also, the seats and seating position were much more comfortable on the Equus. Seems like Genesis went a bit further from Mercedes and more towards BMW. I owned two S-classes before the Equus, but never owned a BMW - don’t like them at all.

Just purchased a used 2022 G90 Ultimate RWD to replace my 2002 Lexus LS430. The G90 only had 13,560 miles on it and was a CPO vehicle. Given my LS has 189,000, I'm going to happily say I just bought my first "new" car in decades😁😁😁

Nice. How do you compare those two cars? We have a 2015 3.8 Ultimate sedan and love it. Almost bought a G90 but the smaller sedan was a better fit.

I replaced a 2011 Audi A8L with 168,000 miles with an almost new 2023 G90 3.5T (dealer vehicle).

The difference in comfort and soundproofing is big. Power and acceleration also in favor of the G90 but it handles worse in the corners :) I love the G90

Awesome - and congrats. Can I ask about what you paid?
