  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

When I bought my Genesis 4.6, there was a thread "Price you paid" which led me to another state to by my Genesis 4.6 for thousands less than my 3 local dealers could do. The Texas dealer had access to more rebates. I was curious if any of you could help me with the same on the Equus.

We all know the 2011 Equus has the smaller 4.6 compared to the new standard 5.0 in 2012's. I want your thoughts if you think there are any deals out there for the remainig 2011 Equus' with 4.6 V8's? I am a highway warrior for my sales job and the softer, larger Equus is tempting. Completely in love with my Genny, I am not needing to do anything, but my nearing 30,000 miles after 10 months has me a bit concerned. I tell myself getting a steal on a 2011 Equus would put me in a car with less miles...."Funny the things we tell ourselves to justify a new car."

I guess my main questions here is: "Any dealers willing to trade a 2011 Equus with the 4.6 V8 and offer a good trade difference with my 2011 4.6 Genny?" What dealers are offering the best Equus deals?

Just traded my '10 3.8 for an '11 Equus Signature with $58.9k msrp. Between dealer discount and Hyundai rebates, cap cost wound up at $49k including 15k/miles yr. Also took me out of current lease with no cost or penalty. Happy I made the switch.
