Genesis 2015, My media automatically coming up playing at each Car start?

I have had a few songs stored into the radio system since Feb 2015. Now everytime I start the car the first song in the my media starts playing? NOTE. phone is NOT plugged in, but is Bluetooth(No car play on system). Should be the radio station, but its my media??? ANY susggestions?

According to your profile, you don't own a Genesis. :bigsmile:

Assuming that is not correct, try setting the audio to SAT radio. Listen to the SAT station for 23 seconds. Next, turn the audio system completely off for 8 seconds. Finally, shut off the ignition for 13 seconds and then restart the car. Did that fix it?

I think I have it added, but Yes we own a 2015 Genesis. Thanks for the tip, I will try what you said

Did the above recommendation work for you? I have been having this issue as well, but it rotates between selecting Sirius/AM/Media. I took it into the dealer and they couldn't duplicate the problem until they tried it with my phone in the car. Once the Bluetooth connects, the Band randomly changes. I almost always have it set on Radio when I turn my car off, but when I turn back on and the bluetooth connects, it will switch to split screen and change either the Band or connect to media. Since my Genesis is out of manufacturer warranty, this isn't considered a covered issue, so dealer couldn't fix it. So frustrating!

Ours is still doing it EXACTLY as yours. I spoke with them but never brought it in for this issue. I have a platuim extended waRRANTY outside the reg. warranty , but who knows what 'll they'll say. This is my first Genesis, in which i say, I LOVE the car, as long as it doesnt give problems( I had a Maxima before for 11 yrs, with NO troubles).
On a side note, Are you still on the faCOTRY oem BATTERY ? OR CHANGED IT OUT YET???
