Genesis 4.6 + Z06 Mess Insurance Update

for those that may remember my wife ran into the back of my brand new Z06 on the way home from the chevy dealer back in june.

the genesis repair bill came in at just over $17k, the Z06 still hasn't been finalized. i am guessing it will be in the same range as the genesis.

my insurance is up for my first renewal since the accident and i got the bill yesterday.

it went down.

Another good reason to lease is if you do have an accident like yours you don't have to try and explain it when times comes to sell the car.

I have been with USAA since 1953 and I wouldn't change for a bet. USAA is only charging me about $2 a month for the V-8 Genesis over my previous Azera. I was really surprised and pleased; I expected a substantial jump.

i have been with them since '91, not as long as you. (btw thanks for your service). probably the best 'extra' benefit that came with my commission. USAA has taken in a lot more money than i have asked them back for, but at the end of the day they have been spot on in every area of service i have had to deal with them on. i am in the middle of selling a property, my wife is a broker and she is complaining about the buyer's bank (BOA). out of no where she comment that the only outfit she has dealt with that has their $hit together is USAA.

and yes their rates are great. i was dumbstruck when i was shopping the Z06 and it came in on the quote from USAA for less than the genesis?!

the only service i don't use of USAA's is the checking. i live in a rather rural area that doesn't take to kindly to out of town checks.....
