Genesis 5.0 Oil Filter

I purchased through EBAY Genuine 2632-03F500 MAHLE oil filter. Instead I received the picture attached. S2632-03F500 MOBIS Product Line 2 oil filter says on the box not to be used for warranty repairer. Product Line 2 parts offer matching quality to genuine parts at a lower price. So if I have an extednded warratnty on my car should I worry or is this much to do about nothing. Comments... Thanks!

I'm curious why the warning though. Sort of like printing on the box "We make cheap crap that does not work well"

MOBIS is Hyundai, so it should be Hyundai approved.

Also, keep the receipt, which demonstrates you performing the maintenance. The chance of that part failing is extremely small. Extremely, extremely small. What type of issue could arise between now and your next oil change that would make Hyundai check the oil filter? Anything's possible, but I think you're fine.

That is an offical KIA oil filter; probably why it is not supported by Hyundai. The filter is probably for the K900 with the 5.0 engine.

I would not use it since a proper Hyundai filter is just as cheap and will avoid warranty related issues if your engine needs dealer work for whatever reason. A wrong filter can void your warranty. However, I bet both filters are the same.
