Genesis app working ok for everyone?

Thanks but I am not getting a yellow star - anyone else having this issue.

Swipe to the left on the favorite you like. Then you can set as default and you'll see the yellow star.

It's really nice to see Genesis improving the app so much. Now they just need to auto lock the doors when you hit engine start.

Should look like this after you select it as your default. Once a default has been selected, the main engine start button should work.

Don’t the doors HAVE to be locked before remote start works?

What they need to do is shut those dam hazard lights offs or at least make it configurable.

Yes the have to be locked but what Slip_angle means is if they are not locked when you press start it should go ahead and lock them. It’s a very good suggestion.

They will never shut off the hazards. Too many legal liabilities. I suspect

Even worse, it is not legal to use a remote (leave idle) in many states/towns.

The penalties vary from state to state. In Washington D.C., for example, you can get fined $5,000 if your car is sitting around for just three minutes. Other states are more lenient, like Pennsylvania, where the law states you can idle for 20 minutes when the temperature is below 40º.

So... someone fixed my app issue after two weeks of being unable to use it. I’ve gotten three calls from them so far. Waiting 5-7 business days to call them back, and I’ll be requesting an extension of my service trial for my trouble. Still annoyed.
