  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I found a glitch in my infotainment system. I deleted my Driver 1 user profile which was linked to my genesis services account. I created a new user profile and now I’m unable to link my genesis connected services to that new user profile. Anyone know how to re-link a genesis account services account back into a new user profile?

When I’m the user profile settings menu in the infotainment system, it states that there is no linked genesis services account to that profile. But when I access the genesis app on my phone, I can see my vehicle and vin number. Also remote start, lock, unlock, etc. seems to work from my phone app.

When I access the connected services app on the infotainment system; the weather, vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and connected settings seem to be working fine. The only issue im having is with the calender.. everytime I press the calender it tells me to link my genesis service account online.

Please help thank you

Car is 2022 G70

I am getting the same issue, did you end up finding a fix?
Thanks

Not yet. Going to the dealership tomorrow for help. Hopefully they can fix this issue.

Dealership told me to call connected services. I called connected services and seems like they don’t even know how to fix this. They recommended re-installing the app but that doesn’t work either. Did you find a solution yet?

Negative, I also called connected services and they told me that’s only when you want to share/invite someone on your connected services. Not sure they knew either.

By the way Slat does your POI button on your rear view mirror work or do you get the “this is not supported” on your screen ?

The button on my rear view mirror works. It seems like a lot of people are having similar issues with bluelink and their hyundai cars as well.

Anyone figure this out? I reset the settings in my car and it erased my user profile, breaking the link between that and my Connected Services account. I have spoken to Connected Services twice and they have told me to go to a dealer. It shouldn't be that hard to re-link these two accounts...

Dealing with the same issue. Deleted and recreated profile. Unable to relink my account. I deleted profile in attempt to fix the other issue I have. Remote start via app and from website will not work. Though, all other functions work. Any help on these two issues is appreciated, thanks!

I am also facing the same issue, created a ticket with Genesis Connected Services. Did anyone here got the issue resolved?

I've been waiting since September 9th for a resolution to this issue.

Having the same issue on a newly acquired G70. Most remote functions work except for sending POI to the car, which I'd really like to have.

Anyone found a solution other than getting lucky with support?

If you are referring to the mirror button, then the problem is between Genesis and Google No one at connected services is going to solve this.

No, my issue is my Connected Services account can't be linked to my car profiles. Possibly as a result I can't send POIs from the assistant app to my car.

Delete the profiles you don't use; it's probably getting sent to a different profile if you get the notice 'address successfully sent to vehicle', or something like that. That happened to me on a 2021 Palisade Calligraphy, where the dealer set up the infotainment on profile #2. I deleted it, and then it was sent to the #1. You could add the #2 profile later on, but delete both #2 and 'guest', and that should take care of your issue. Then add #2 if you want, but we just use the memory #2 on the profile #1 nowadays. Much quicker, and less touching the screen. Oh, and on my 2023, the #2 profile does not have the TPMS screen, the digital speedo, and other options on that menu, so had to delete it permanently.

How do you delete the profiles? I don't see a way to do this in the car, nor the assistant app.

I think it's under setup, then general, then 'reset'. Make sure you're in the profile you want to reset, then click on 'this profile only', since you also have the option to reset everything, like when you sell the vehicle. Do the same for 'guest', to make sure only the #1 is active.

Thanks for your response, but deleting the profiles didn't help. My subscription expiration date in the car shows as 11/17/22 (expired), while online and in the app correctly shows as 11/17/25. I have a ticket in with support to address this.

Just an update for anyone who may be interested in this issue - my ticket is still open and has not been addressed yet. This is ridiculous and a huge weakspot for Genesis - the customer support folks, while very nice, seem to be incompetent.
