  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wondered why none of the Genesis I see advertised are indicated at certified pre-owned, but then I see on the Genesis website that CPO is coming "later this year".

Anyone have any insight as to the specifics?

Especially wondering whether the 10yr/100k powertrain warranty will be extended to new owner of a CPO Genesis

Genesis of Atlanta (Jim Ellis) has a number of vehicles listed as Genesis CPO.

He also seems to be vacuuming up all the late model (CPO eligible) Genesis cars he can find.

Shows this on the listings:

interesting - went to site, searched pre-owned, filter by certified, and no Genesis show. But, as you indicated - he has CPO listed under some of the Genesis descriptions when viewed individually. And, yes he has a boat load of cars - sweet

One would think that only 2019MY and after vehicles would technically be eligible - as there should be no issue w/ what they are registered as w/ the various DMVs.

Wow! Jim Ellis are so ahead of the curve, they are probably the first to offer CPO on the Genesis G-0 in the SE.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my 5.0, but If only that option was available available to me 6 months ago, I would probably gave them more of my money for a 3.3T when I did ‘two for the price of one’ deal.
They tend to be firm in their price negotiation, but boy their service during and after the sales cycle, tend to be top notch.

That's good to hear since I just picked up my G90 from them 2 weeks ago
