  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The Los Angeles Times (Orange County edition) had two Hyundai dealers advertising the Genesis.

Anaheim offered 10 cars with Premium Plus package at the $399/month lease, with 3199 due at signing

Douglas of Irvine actually had a 1 at this price ad, for a base level Genesis at a $3012 discount for $29,988.00. I was at this dealer the day before and they had 12 cars and ALL of them were listed with the $5000.00 "Market Adjustment" (BTW for those asking in other threads, the adjustment is NOT on the original sticker but on a narrow stub next to the sticker that also sometimes includes custom wheels and other dealer markups). I will need to go back to the dealer to see if they have removed this market adjustment on all the other cars.

Hmm, so the dealers who don't have them posted in the window of the car means they don't do 'market adjustments'. which is good, since the dealer I went to, only sticker they had posted on the car was one, original window sticker, that only listed standard equipment, options on the car, and the freight. There were 4 Genesis on the lot in the open, one of them didn't even have any stickers(perhaps, it's sold already and awaiting the owner?) and 3 of them had the window sticker. 1 of them had $36,000($32,250 + $2,000 premium package + $750 freight), another had $33,000($32,250 + $750 freight). I didn't have a chance to look at the window sticker of the black one inside the showroom though.

The one I looked at yesterday, had the window sticker at 40K but the inventory list showed 42K. Plus a 5K "Genesis Hyundai marketing incentive".
