  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

before i bought my genesis, i owned a 92 lexus ls400. when i had this car i found a site where it helps me repair/replace anything on my lexus. i was wondering if there were any sites or guides that help you with your hyundai genesis.

Heres the site for my lexus ls400

Interesting concept, although it seems like it would be a few years before most would be out of warranty to the point where DIY repairs would be necessary. It would be cool to have a how-to section on some of the aftermarket things (such as rebadging, hard-wiring radar detectors) or retrofit (LED sill plates) without having to search for individual threads here.

There's factory service information at hmaservice.com, but it's very service-dept focused and not that easy for the amateur (me at least) to navigate or understand.

It's a good idea and maybe we can create one some day. It surely took at least several years of the Lexus LS being on the market before that page was even created. It'll be some time before we see resources like that for the Hyundai Genesis...

How can we get a section in the forum dedicated to how-tos?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
As a do-it-yourselfer that likes to avoid the 60-mile round trip to my preferred dealer whenever possible, I like to see any and all information regarding the vehicle. I was glad to see links to schematics posted elsewhere on this forum and I am collecting them as bookmarks.

Information can make us much more attuned to the car's internals even if we can't make the repair/modification ourself.
