  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Did you know that new Rolls Royce vehicles have floating wheel center caps? I didn't until recently - and thought it was pretty cool. I was surprised to find that Genesis actually makes these as well! Check 'em out at the link below...

Sal, Will these work with the 2019 g80 sport wheels? would they go inside the bronze piece or would it replace the whole cap?

Hey there. I'm not certain about which Genesis vehicles they fit yet... All I know is that they fit 19" and 20" wheels (and some 21" wheels - see the bullet points on the product page). It replaces the whole cap. There's an installation video on the product page. I hope that'll help you determine whether they'll work on your 2019...

I took a deeper dive and it appears that the size of the cap and base is different (larger) for the 2018 -2020 G80 sport, so it will not work. But these look really cool so I’ll be on the lookout for if and when they put out that larger size.

Will be getting these for the G90 when I get it :)
Very fitting for the G90 being it's the Rolls Royce of the Genesis lineup. :p

Would you share a picture of one of your wheels close-up?

See attachments. My wheel, and then some screenshots of how the cap looks. It’s different

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I have those on my Signature model GV80. People are shocked buy the cost, but hey I want what I want lol..

I bet the cap is the same size - it's just the collar that is wider. Are you able to measure?

I tried to post what mine look like but it says my photo was too large. :(

I think the maximum dimensions for an images are 1600 or under. Try reducing the size of the image. Phones, these days, the resolution is so high...

Sadly as many times as I have tried on my IPad, I can not get this photo to go smaller so no photo sharing for me.

sending you a PM so I can help you resize it

Perfect, thank you kindly for doing this…

Thank you kindly for doing this as it at least shows a close up of what I see daily as I run parents/in-laws back and forth to doctors appointments…

It is all one piece and the collar is what snaps in to the base. I’m seeing that the OD for the base on the older sport is 73 mm and this floating model is 59 mm, which will only fit the newer models. At least this is what I am interpreting.

I just had my wheels powder coated gloss black so this new floating cap would be perfect but it’s not looking like a fit. I ordered a can of piano black hyper dip to paint the original caps for now.

Oh... ok - I guess my memory is failing me. I thought the collar sat above the surface of the wheel on the sport model... or at least - that's how I remember it? 1712152449608.webp

Thank you for the photos and explanation/measurements... How would it make the most sense to present this on the product page? I don't want to get anyone's hopes up if they won't work for their Genesis...
