  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis G70 Sport trim exterior lighting factory tint.

This Genesis G70 rights all of the wrongs from my Lexus IS250. Things that totally annoyed me about the Lexus and that I thought was unacceptable for a car in this class has been corrected in the G70. It is like Genesis read my mind.
I agree! I have an IS -- and although I enjoyed it, it never came close to how I "feel" about this car.

I would like to see the G70 have a "snow" mode. My IS was RWD and snow mode got me home in one piece during a snow storm. Even with the summer tires.

I'm hoping AWD & the all season tires will be enough--though do not have much snow where I live (sometimes none) so it was not a primary concern. (The other reason I went with Prestige was not wanting to switch tires out--I have all season, non-staggered tires).
There are a lot of posters that live in areas with a lot of snow and report the G70 does well, but I think many of them switch to winter tires. (You might ask Beefer--was thinking he lived in an area with snow and was not switching out tires.)

With Prestige you will loose the Adaptative Suspension and the darker accents, you will gain thoe awesome 10 spoke rims and a lighter interior. For me was simple, I chose the Prestige.
I was going for Prestige for these reasons - interior and wheels - (price was not a factor). But when I couldn't get my arthritic bod out of the G70, I went G80 3.3t and got all the goodies, except the boomerang.

Snow mode is by default. Traction on, stability control on, ABS brakes on, Comfort mode splitting the AWD best case scenario. The only other thing to do would be to purposefully turn off traction control when required (snowbank, stuck, driveway, etc.) or having some fun ;)

Also, I test drove both the 2.0t manual sport and 3.3t sport AWD on summer PS4's early this spring at about 3-4° C on a damp day and almost spun out in each because the traction was poor (fun as hell though). Without a doubt, I would die on my commute to work in a snowstorm on those summer tires and have invested in winter tires.
