  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis G80 Sport Performance IC?

The Wagner intercooler looks promising. It even has a relief for the tow hook mount. Their designs have a "step" around the crash beam so it fits without having to remove anything. Of course that's what creates the variable of "will it fit" for other cars. I found out the hard way that their IC for the Optima did NOT fit the Sonata due to minor differences. A little trimming made it fit but it wasn't a direct swap even for "sister" cars.wagner IC Stinger.webp

I know this is a few years old, but there are options from BMS and IMR America now. They are even more appealing now that CPI is a thing . IMO if you're going to take off the bumber to install a bung, you might as well leave your factory system intact for resale (and to avoid drilling into the stock plastic intercooler).

IMR is a nightmare to work with not only massive shipping delays. They eventually shipped my ic without a fuel bung ultimately I have to pay another shop to install the bung I paid for originally at the cost of an extra $200. Do not do business with that guy.
