Genesis Grille Question

I have a 2011 4.6 sedan, bought used a few months back, love the car, but the upper grille is badly sun damaged. Looking at ordering a new stock grille, but does the trim piece on the hood come with the grille? Not sure if anyone has ordered one before?

Side view mirrors also loosing clear coat from the sun....I assume I will have to get those repainted at a body shop.


I had the dealer replace the weather stripping behind the b-pillars on the rear windows before I would buy it, I am stuck fixing the rest.

Any new parts that are not chrome (but normally painted on a car), will be black plastic and will need to be painted anyway. Only other option is buy a used part that has same color as one's car.

There is also the center chrome trim piece on the upper grill that is a separate part too.

When you have the mirrors refinished, you might also consider getting the door handle painted trims strips done at the same time. Considering your mirrors are sun faded, if the door trims haven't yet, they will be soon. Don't ask me how I know.

Thanks for the input from everyone.

I have thought about painting the grill, but it was chrome, not sure that there are any good chrome colored paints that would look decent and hold up.

Also, I didn't mention, but yes, my door handles also need paint, will get them done at the same time as the mirrors. Black plastic door trim still looks decent, but the rubberized coating along the rear windows had to be replaced.
