Genesis in Nationwide Insurance TV Ad?

OK, it may just be me, but is that a Genesis in the latest Nationwide Insurance TV ad? I can't get the darned Flash video to play on their website (http://www.nationwide.com/about-us/ads-auto.jsp, top left), but I did find it on YouTube:

So am I seeing things? Or is that a very Genesis-looking car?

I agree. I couldn't imagine an insurance company endorsing a particular make/model of a car, and not really revving up the brand name in the commercial. Given the nature of their business, it would seem particularly odd. I agree that it's a look of a car that was probably easy to draw (and pay no royalties to a manufacturer) and duplicate on TV.

Me too! I thought it looked an aweful lot like the Genesis. Can't really just be a a generic car.....it's a Genesis!

It sure looks like the Genesis to me. The grill, headlight cluster, the fog light and the turn signal on the side mirrors, all Genesis design elements.

...and Mercedes, Lexus, and....

I'll admit that it bears a resemblance to the Gens (and others), but I'd be surprised if it was intentional. Who knows, maybe the guy that drew that computer screen owns a Gen???!!!

I noticed it too. I am pretty sure it is a Genesis. The grille and light cluster are pretty recognizable.

I would speculate they used the image precisely because there is no Hyundai logo on the front grille.
