Wow. With Fitzgerald and Donckerwolke both now under Peter Schreyer, that is some pretty heavy talent they have amassed. Lambo, Bently, Audi....some serious design experience being put together.

Look at Luc Donckerwolke's resume alone: Head of design at Lamborghini from 1998, where he was responsible for the 2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0, 2002 Lamborghini Murciélago and 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo, winning the 'Red Dot Award' in 2003 in recognition for his work on them. He also worked with Walter de'Silva to produce the 2006 Lamborghini Miura concept.

I saw this and wasn't sure what to think. I agree they're accumulating talent, but I have no idea how much designing exotic Italian sports cars translates to building a luxury brand.

Regardless, bragging rights after saying they got the best from Audi, BMW and Lamborghini get chalked up into more prestigious sales. Those guys they hired would not go work for a run of the mill builder either as they have a reputation to carry forward. Bottom line is I think their moves are all in the right direction and will pay off substantially for the future "Genesis" brand.

They say 6 new vehicles BY 2020. In other words the envisioned line up will be complete BY then. They also say starting with the Q90 (Equus) . This has been advertised elsewhere as being available Jan or Feb of this year so just around the corner. The next few years will be rather interesting to say the least.

Apparently Luc Donckerwolke has some fire to him. When he worked for Bentley, he called out Lincoln for ripping off Bentley design for the new Lincoln Continental.
