  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My current Genesis lease is expiring. Does anyone know what Hyundai is offering to expiring lease customers? Loyalty or early signing incentive on a new Genesis? I am surprised at their lack of correspondence. Typically, on other leases communication begins around 6 months prior on client retention. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you called them to ask if they had anything?

I have. They indicated they weren't aware of a specific program and it sounded if they use a third party for that program. I would just find it odd that they wouldn't do anything for existing Genesis owners as I would assume many of their inititial two year leases are expiring.

I thought it went on sale in July or August of '08, but maybe I'm wrong. If I'm right, how do you come up with "two year leases are expiring"?

As for a "specific program", did you put in your zip code at Hyundai USA?
I did and it returned this for the Gen:

Lease starting at $399/month for 36 months (2/2/2010 - 3/1/2010)
$1,500 Valued Owner Coupon Offer (2/2/2010 - 3/1/2010)
$1,500 Competitive Owner Coupon Offer (2/2/2010 - 3/1/2010)

If you leased the Gen back in July 2008, a two year lease will be up in July 2010 this year. About 6 months from now.

My apologies for any confusion. My lease expires in July however, all payments have been completed and I am nearing the mileage allotment.

I haven't heard of any programs specific to Genesis owners in terms of retention or offers yet, I'm not sure they will offer it this early. Maybe a few months down the line when more leases are beginning to mature.
