  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I believe that means that your navigation instructions are muted, but you can check your owners manual to confirm.

Bingo!!! The Nav Turn-By-Turn voice directions are muted. Mine was the same way when I bought it. I think I figured out why too. You can't "cancel" the Nav, so instead of it constantly telling you to "turn around, go here, go there, DO IT NOW!!!!" They just mute it. I just suspend the Nav if I don't need it anymore while driving and I just change the destination next time I need Nav. Once its suspended, it won't talk.

You can cancel the current route in the nav screen by pushing the knob twice.

It "suspends it" which I guess is Hyundai's speak for "cancel".

That's horrible.

On mine, you press the "MENU" button once and "Cancel Route" is an option.

No, it’s their term for abeyance, a state of temporary disuse.

Perhaps try long pressing the button. That should cancel it.
