I have to tell all of you that due to this forum, I am now a PROUD Genesis owner! I read almost every post on this forum, looked at almost all of the on line docs. Yup.. went nuts with the research. But, it was an honset obsession. See- I own a software company called The Genesis Group! So... I HAD to get a Genesis car! Seroiusly, I had a great Maxima, but the Genesis (the car) was a serious attraction due to the value proposition. I should say that this is the first new car I've had in years and my wife was a cheerleader for it.

I've added all of the available badging and KAI stuff. So I'm thinking... Is the 'wings' logo trademarked or copyrighted? If it's not, or if rights can be obtained, I'm interested in getting golf shirts and jackets done, some other nice stickers made with the wings, other things. A GREAT place for a high class wings logo sticker is on the fuse holder doors as you open the front driver and passenger doors of the car. The shirts and jackets, well... pretty straight forward.

Anyway- I'm interested in feedback so fire away!

^ Same here but I don't know if there are any infringements with logos that are trademarked overseas. Seems like you'll need to call HMA to find out. As the KDM logo becomes more popular here in the US, don't be surprised that HMA has rights to use it here. And I'm sure once they read this thread or you call them, you've just given up your idea to a much larger money maker.

But I like the idea though

Thanks for the great comments. Sounds like the idea is sound. I've had this same conversation with KAI since my original post and they tell me that Hyundai does own the logo. So... I guess next steps are to try working up the food chain with Hyundai USA to see what can be done. I'll make a few calls and let everyone know.

It's not so much about making money with it (although that might be nice), I'm just so proud of the car! If HMA does it themselves... PLEASE do it in time for Christmas!
