  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Loyalty and pull-ahead programs for Hyundai Genesis Owners

Okay, looks like previous generation owners will be very pleased (as tiredeli reported). I just received this email from Kevin Smith, the PR head for Genesis Motors.

Situation apparently resolved in the last day or two. There's a lease pull-ahead program for earlier lessees and Hyundai Genesis owners can now use a conquest incentive on a new Genesis vehicle. Buyers will need to check with their local new Genesis retailer for details.

Best,
Kevin

Edit: He followed up with another email saying I should make sure I post that since this just happened the local dealers may not be aware of the change yet.
You are THE MAN! Thanks.

Exactly. I revceived my info from the senior managment team.

Glad this has all been resolved. Btw, I did not see a number in the OP, did you?

It was in the attachment I posted, $1,000 for the G70 and $1,500 for the G80.

Is $1000 cash rebate. Honored to Genesis owners or competitive brand owners.

Glad to see Genesisusa has some sense. Good timing too as I'm currently in touch with 3 dealers which have the G70 trim I want, although all seem reluctant to discuss price by email...

I let the G70 forum folks know about my recent lease deal, but just wanted to confirm that a dealer in NJ honored the conquest rebate for my previous Hyundai Genesis. It's weird because they just plopped an undefined extra $1k in addition to my requested $2k off MSRP for it, and I didn't have to fill out any form other than just sign that I was offered both a conquest and loyalty offer without any specific terms listed. I didn't bother to ask at that point because I was dead tired and wanted to just drive home.

Either way, wanted to share this info so that other Hyundai Genesis owners interested in other 2019 models can know that the recent change really is being rolled out for the conquest coupon. Thanks to tiredeli and turtleboy for confirming with Genesis, without it I might not have pushed for the coupon or even consider purchasing at this point.

Thank you for the info and congrats for your new ride.

So they are only running it for 2 weeks? That doesn't seem like much of a program. I wonder if that is just some type of advertising and the pull ahead will be on-going. How would it benefit @danygenesis whose lease is up in April?

Not sure why they limited it to Jan 2nd, maybe because they have to coincide with the expiration of the regular monthly offers- not sure. It always possible they may renew it. This was obviously in response to a formal request :) . For @danygenesis, its the normal use-it-or-you-may-lose-it car buying dilemma, take advantage of a current program, or see what changes (+ or -) when the new programs come out. He probably can still use it now, knowing it will only cover 3 payments (if there is a mileage concern, that could be advantageous).

Sorry didn't give the whole situation, in addition to the lease expiration issue, he has no dealers in his state. I would think they will offer it again.

That is another story altogether. There plan from what I understand is to whittle down the number of dealers quite a bit, which will be interesting. This creates a hardship when dealers do not have what you want, and have to reach much farther away to a dealer in hopes of trading. The dealers then become reluctant in giving up inventory. It changes the game, but it sounds like that is someone's plan.

Yes, we are well versed in the original plan, the updated plan and how things are playing out. It was more of a comment for those of us who have been talking about this for many months. Sort of an inside joke/sarcasm.

Even though it doesn't affect me, thanks for all of the work you did on this. I have a feeling it was your persistence that got them to change the policy and implement the pull-ahead. Great job on that! (y)

You are correct. Actually I have 4 remaining payments (last one is April) but the big problem is that there is no G70 in Florida yet. :suicide:

So I have a question about this, my current lease on my 2016 genesis isn't up until May of 2019 (5 more payments), so does that mean I'm not eligible for this program, its only cars that have 3 or less lease payments left?

I really wanted to get into a g70 but having to wrap the remaining payments into my new lease kind of blows

I believe it still can be used, however it only covers 3 of your last 5 payments, so you would have to roll 2 into your new lease. You always can wait a bit and hopefully they will continue to offer it.
