Car & Driver: "We've fallen head over heels for the G90 Wingback concept, which takes the brand's flagship sedan and adds beefier bodywork and a sleek wagon roofline."
There aren't many official details on the G90 Wingback, but we were told that the concept is built on a standard G90 platform and that everything underneath the skin is identical to the production car. That means a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, which in the base spec produces 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque, but is also offered with an electric supercharger that boosts output to 409 horsepower and 405 pound-feet. The standard eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive setup should also be present, as well as the cloudlike air suspension. Read more and see pictures here.
- Genesis revealed the G90 Wingback concept yesterday, a wagon version of its flagship luxury sedan.
- The roofline has been extended, and there are more aggressively styled bumpers, flared fenders, and plenty of aerodynamic devices.
- While a production version of the Wingback isn't officially confirmed, the company says it is under consideration.
