  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anybody spotted a Genesis Motors dealership sign being erected yet? It's getting down to the wire. Yesterday I asked an employee at my dealer when a sign was going up. She looked at me quizzically and said, "Huh?"

I haven't spotted any yet. But I've spotted several Hyundai dealership employees who don't know anything about Genesis Motors. :p

Yes, it does make one wonder. Where is the "big Genesis Motors launch campaign?" They are off to a very inauspicious start.

Those are the employees who will be staying at the Hyundai dealership. The ones moving over to the Genesis Motors operation are the ones smiling with a spring in their step.

Yes, indeed. Those who don't care enough to know about current events will probably hang back at Hyundai as the Genesis Motors brand expands. In most instances, anyway...

My guess is that they will wait to get some cars in the showroom prior to launching marketing.

At the local dealer I use they changed all the Equus signage on the "showroom in a showroom" area about 3 months ago to Genesis.

Seems like they jumped the gun a bit...

My dealer had a Genesis sign propped up against the wall on the floor next to a 2016 Equus in the showroom.
