• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Motor America today reported sales of 1,736 for September, a 43 percent increase compared with September 2016. “Our G80 and G90 sedan lineup saw strong demand as the summer sales season wound to a close,” said Erwin Raphael, general manager of Genesis in the U.S. market. “Additionally, we couldn’t be more proud of the accolades our brand collected during that time. Our brand or products gathered awards from distinguished third parties like J.D. Power, AutoPacific and Strategic Vision while our product’s safety capabilities were recognized by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety as well as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.”

They're going to get MANY more sales once there are CUVs available...

The comparison to 2016 numbers is a bit misleading, because in September 2016 they were still selling a fair number of 2016 Hyundai Genesis models still in inventory. Those Hyundai Genesis sales are not included in the Genesis Motors numbers.

How do they compare to the Lexus LS? I expect they would be practically giving those away to make room for the newer model.

October and YTD sales -

G80 - 1,408; 13,264
G90 - 378; 3,624

GS - 558; 6,118
LS - 352; 3,430

For the year, the G80 is more than doubling sales of the GS.

Just watch what happens when the G70 is released over here. I believe it will sell extremely well. It's going to surprise a lot of people.

The G90 is not bad against the LS either.
I guess not that many want to pay so much for so little in the LS
