Genesis Mud Guards

I haven't really looked to hard but do any of you know if Hyundai has the mud guards available yet to fit the Genesis?

I have a 2012 and i examined the wheel wells and it does not look like there is much of a place at all to MOUNT mud/splash guards, esp in the rear wheel wells...

they have mud guards for the 2009 through 2011 but they do not fit the 2012 as they changed the rocker panels.

Yea, on my 2012 it looks like you COULD get some mounted on the front wheel wells, but on the rear, fugggetaboudit, as there is nothing to mount TO. The rocker panel that makes up the rear of the wheel well is just a piece of plastic with no backing at all. I don't think I'd try to hang one there and then have 10 lbs of ice freeze up on it....that'd be bad.....

Has anyone installed splash guards or mud guards on the 2015 Genesis yet? Any pics out there. It doesnt look to difficult to do. Just a few screws and a short screwdriver and your all set.

Just bought my 2015 3.8 HTRAC Ultimate. I got the dealer to throw in the Splash guards and the car will be delivered tomorrow. I'll try to remember to post some pics for you.

Oh cool. They're subtle. Not over sized which is good. I may get some and install them.

I like the way they look on the car. They’re functional but not an eyesore and I prefer them black as I think they don’t visually change the nice looks of the wheels.

Hey Ernie. Can you check to see if the felt is behind or in front of the guard. I'm surprised the guards are hollow and would allow mud to cake up in them.

Behind meaning not toward the tire.
Yeah I know about the hollow thing but they are OEM and I'd be leary of using anything else.

Figured it out. There is no way it would go over the mud flaps. Never mind.
