I recently had a stone crack the windshield on my 2018 G80 5.0 and because of the HUD and electronics in the mirror, I wanted it replaced by the dealer. The insurance said no problem and called the dealership with a claim reference number. The dealer ordered the OEM glass and set up a valet pickup for my car (even though this really wasn't a warranty or maintenance issue). They picked the car up, left a 2019 G80 Ultimate loaner, and returned the car 4 hours later with the new windshield installed, calibration completed and the car had been washed and vacuumed. The best part is they only charged me my $50 deductible and the insurance paid the rest. I'll even recoup the $50 deductible with the "protection package" they sold me when I bought the car (I've already been covered for a tire replacement and wheel repair for curb rash). We know there are good dealers and some not-so-good dealers when it comes to Genesis service, so I thought I'd post my good experience at this one.
