There are several posts on the Genesis forum on rigid collars. Basically, rigid collars are small liners fitted on the subframe mounting bolts that remove/shim the slack/overage in the subframe mounting holes.
I had a 2013 Genesis 3.8 V6 that had mounted rigid collars. I removed them when I traded the car for a 2014 Equus. I have now mounted these same rigid collars on the Equus. They fit perfectly. The subframe mounting bolts are the same on the Genesis and Equus.
Rigid collars create a definite, but subtle, handling improvement. There are several vendors selling rigid collars - they are virtually identical so advise buying on price.
