  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Interesting that not a single Equus was sold during the month although I would expect that to change next month. A dealer in Long Island, New York has cut the price for two fully loaded 2015 Equuses sitting on his lot. Price cut was $30,000 on two new models to $39,988.

There are five left-over Equus models in the entire nation according to Cars.com.

Wow, I'd have considered that over the G80 I bought in October. Heckuvabuy for someone.
Looking at the total number sold though, I don't see much profitability yet for a stand alone dealer unless a particular region is hot. I rarely see them here in my area of CT but my son says he sees them all the time in Florida.

One of this has been sold. I guess the other one is still out there. I told the local dealer about it if he wanted to go get it. That dealer must really have been motivated to say the least. That should leave a total of four new unsold Equuses in the United States.

I drove one of these back in 2013. Frankly, I found them far to large. In my opinion, the G80 hits the "sweet" spot.

There was a 2017 G90 for sale until recently. It was a heckava deal as well. But again, just too large. I think these type of cars are best suited for long drives where one must have maximum comfort. Having said that I saw two late model Lexus 460's yesterday and all I could think is that those cars are just huge. Different strokes for different folks they say.

I've not driven one but you may be right. It has a lot of features that I don't need, such as the entertainment in the rear, vanity mirrors in the rear. We don't take kids on long trips and if we go with another couple, conversation is the entertainment. It is a hefty price jump I could not justify.
