  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis' sustained growth trajectory continued with May representing the 23rd consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases for Hyundai's first premium products. Equus continues its strong launch, with sales and market share exceeding targeted levels.

Genesis: 2,769

Equus: 221

(And no, they don't break out sedan vs. coupe sales)

Read this on AOL:

Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia, which are both part of the Hyundai Motor Chaebol (Korean conglomerate) are expected to outsell Toyota and Lexus for the first time when all the sales are counted for the month of May.

TrueCar.com, a leading website for new car pricing, trends and forecasting says that the Korean duo will report sales of between 115,000 and 116,000 in May, good enough for the number three spot behind General Motors and Ford, and ahead of Toyota/Lexus and Chysler/Dodge/Jeep.

Didn't happen. Fell just short of Toyota, but ahead of Honda and Nissan.
Fwiw, Sonata and Elantra both sold over 20K each for the first time.

Also:
Only 7% of HKia's sales were fleets, 11% YTD. I suspect if you only counted retail sales Toyota would have been behind.
(Probably true of Chrysler too.)

Hyundai and Kia are on one hell of a roll. and Ford is right behind them in year to date.
