  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,

I'm new to the forums and was hoping someone could direct me to the dealership that sells parts slightly over cost.

I need a new transmitter, laser cut key, programming, etc. for my 2009 Genesis Sedan. I believe I still need to go to my local dealership to get the key cut and programmed, but am hoping there is a dealership that sells 10% over cost at leat for the transmitter and key.

There are several dealers that sell parts online. One is at www.newhyundaiparts.com (Hilton Head SC Hyundai). Another is Jim Ellis Hyundai in ATL (not sure of website). I am sure there are others, so try google. Some people have bought them on eBay, but not sure how safe that is for this kind of part. You will need to go to a dealer to get it programmed.

I recently found out that www.newhyundaiparts.com is no longer operating, although their website is still there. I would try Jim Ellis, which I believe will ship items to you. Feel free to call Jim Ellis parts department if you have any questions, as they are a regular Hyundai dealer.
