  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi there, does anyone know if there are ways to do the following (this is on the Premium Navigation System (not tech)):

- Turn off the 'Agree' screen when I turn on the car? Can't believe there is no way to turn this off, and afraid it is going to burn in on the screen.

- Turn off the 'beeps' for unlock/locking the doors? They sure are annoying in a quiet neighborhood!

Thanks!

When I start my 2010 3.8 premium/nav (non-Tech) the screen displays whatever was displayed when I last turned the motor off. If FM, the FM screen displays, if USB, the USB screen, etc. I never see the nav nag screen unless I activate the nav, which I very seldom do. Before you shut down, switch to FM or whatever and see if it defaults to nav the next time you start up.
