  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis SUV-I Wish!!!

I haven't seen any mention anywhere about a big (engine wise) SUV from Hyundai. The Kia Borrego (V8) may be as close as you might get at this point.

Nothing wrong with the Veracruz- do they need another?
Tucson, Santa Fe (update next year) & Veracruz...I think not.

I agree. If I were in the SUV market, the Veracruz would be on my list. Not sure what the OP had in mind. I was thinking engines, V8 in particular. If he was thinking of a more upscale SUV, he certainly may be out of luck with Hyundai. If that is in the works, it hasn't been made public.

My guess is new redesigned Sante Fe will have Sonata's twin scroll 274hp+ motor and Veracruz may opt for the Tau.

The Veracruz is a nice SUV but in my opinion, it's exterior is not attractive like some others nor is the interior. I think it needs an overall upgrade or build a Genesis level SUV. I would like a Hyundai that competes with the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, etc.

The Veracruz nose is a bit ugly- a new nip-tuck scaple treatment would do wonders.
Inside- Lexus like.
