After losing my e-mail invite and 3-4 phone calls to Hyundai I got a reservation certificate in the mail.

Nicely packaged (black sheet metal covered with water droplets) as the picture.

The invite card had my special invite number - entered it on line to get my time slot reserved as opposed to sending in the post card attached.


You get when you go to the event

A complimentary car kit (worth $40 for attending) plus a Hyundai Discovery Reward worth $500 toward the purchase of the all-new Genesis.

1 car kit and 1 Reward per VIP registration.
For the $500 certificate "reservation, attendance and PARTICIPATION in the driving events REQUIRED."

(DUH!)

Car kit has a case, nylon brush, chamois, another clearner item, and another unidentifiable plactic objects, brush, garden hose attachment

etc.

DON'T FORGET TO ASK/BEG FOR THE COUPON! It is NOT obvious where they are, they don't just hand it to you, and there are a limited number available at each location. And if you are creative, they will usually give up a second coupon for your friend who 'just couldn't make it'. Then you can share with folks who don't have the benefit of a tour event near them.

I don't get it.

I just registered; do I just need to wait for the invite? They probably won't invite me because I own an old Elantra and an old Tiburon each with a billion miles.

If you registered at the site below, and printed the confirmation, that's all you need. Just show up and check in. Phoenix & Chicago are tour events and will have the car kit and the coupons. Atlanta & Las Vegas are in conjunction with a local event and will have fewer cars, no car kit give away, but they should have coupons.
