Interesting idea.

Maybe I'm unusual, but I've had mine since November 08, and I can count on part of one hand the quantity of times I've even opened the hood!

I with u jake the snake i open mine every time i wash my car which is almost every day, let me know if u find an emblem for the engine cover maybe we should contact korean auto imports.com they come out with things every month it seems for our genesis im thinking about replacing my grill with one thats painted with the chrome i kind of like those

You could always order a KDM front or rear emblem and stick it on the engine cover. It shouldn't be effected by the heat. Seems to be the easy solution.

Sounds logical to me as well. Is there a flying "H" on the engine cover? If so, how would you go about getting that off? IMO this sounds like a lot of effort/work for something that isn't going to be seen much.
